Emma first joined the team at Inform in early 2014. Since then she has completed her Master of Clinical Physiotherapy in Continence and Women’s Health. She also works casually at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg, where she has gained expertise in managing pre and post-natal pelvic floor, bladder and bowel problems, musculoskeletal discomforts of pregnancy and conditions of the lactating breast. Emma also has an interest in chronic pelvic pain and men’s health, and is a qualified Clinical Pilates instructor and dry needling practitioner.

Alongside her passion for working with her clients to help them to achieve their goals, is Emma’s passion for helping women by contributing to research. She is currently completing her PhD on the assessment and treatment of inflammatory conditions of the lactating breast (e.g. Engorgement, blocked ducts, mastitis). She is aiming to undertake a clinical trial on the effectiveness of therapeutic ultrasound treatment for these conditions in 2021.
